About the Author

Moremi Ogbara graduated from California State University, Los Angeles with a Bachelors of Arts in French and English with an option in Creative Writing in 2004. She is currently completing her Masters of Arts in English Literature at the same university. Her specialization is in transatlantic gothic literature, and her thesis studying the Feminist Gothic literature of Vernon Lee is soon to be completed. She enjoys the work of other gothic writers such as Edgar Allan Poe, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Charlotte Perkins Gilman, and Mary Shelley.
